A Family Business with a Professional Focus

Rupert Lines founded R&M Lines in 1993, the ‘M’ in company name is Rupert’s wife Mary.  Rupert’s skill and enthusiasm in home improvements were fostered in early life by watching and helping his own Father work on the family home.  

It was while training to be an actor that, to make ends meet, Rupert would take on decoration and small refurbishment projects around Clapham. Soon, as his order book continued to swell, Rupert decided to focus on laying the boards rather than treading them.

With over 20 employees now, R&M Lines has continued to grow in South West London, offering all home renovation and refurbishment services, based on the principles established by Rupert in the early 1990s: skilled quality workmanship and true customer service and satisfaction.

On our 20th anniversary in 2013, we decided to go further in defining the culture and philosophy of R&M Lines. To clients and homeowners, our pledge is to:
